Richard Wilmot is a partner in the Hong Kong office of Watson, Farley & Williams. Based in Hong Kong since 2000, he advises and represents banks, trading companies and end users on commodity supply and regulatory matters. He also represents clients in dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration) as well as expert determination and mediation.
Richard is dual qualified in Hong Kong and England & Wales. Recognised by Chambers Global 2014 for his expertise in relation to commodities disputes, shareholders disputes, winding-up and ancillary relief proceedings, his clients say that he “provides common-sense advice and his written work is always easy to understand - he won’t give us 30 pages of legal jargon.”
