Accredited General Mediator by HKIAC in 2005. Active Committee Member since 2006, currently working with the Commercial Mediation sub group. Regular attendee at local mediation conferences the latest ones being ‘Mediation Roundtable - Changing the Mindset’ on 29th March 2010 and ‘Mediate First’ on 11th May 2012. Currently I am on the Academic Advisory Board for the Hong Kong Shui Yan University’s new Masters Mediation programme. To date I have conducted two property related mediations.
I have lived and worked in Hong Kong for 40 years principally in the land, planning and development fields with 20 years experience in Lands Department of the HK Government followed by 15 years in the private sector with Sun Hung Kai Properties. Since 2007 I have been self employed as a Land & Planning Consultant and also teaching part-time in the Real Estate & Construction Dept of HKU.
In 2008 the HKU Press published my book ‘Land Administration & Practice in Hong Kong’ the Third Edition of which came out in 2012.
