Harrison CHEUNG

Profile

Harrison Cheung is a practicing barrister and a Hong Kong Registered Professional Engineer (Civil). He holds academic qualification in the disciplines of civil engineering (Imperial College, U.K.), engineering geology (University of New South Wales), arbitration and dispute resolution (City University), practicing accounting (Monash University), business administration (Polytechnic University) and law (City University).

He is a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also on the Panel List of Mediators under the Hong Kong Bar Association.

In his life working in the construction field, he had experience serving for developers, consultants and contractors. His footprints covered a wide range of works, both overseas (Sydney and Shanghai) and locally, and included but not limited to geotechnical works, site formation, foundation/piling, tunnels, bridges, roads and drainage works, public housing estates, hotels, residential and commercial buildings. Immediate before practicing as a barrister, he was a director of a Group C contractor charged with duties overlooking all the commercial matters and the PRC development. As parties, he represented the company in numerous mediations, arbitrations and litigation proceedings. 

Mr. Cheung is now practicing in both civil and criminal litigation. Besides the High Court, District Court and various Magistracies, he also had experience appearing in the Lands Tribunal and the Town Planning Appeal Board. Besides general litigation works, he is also interested in taking assignments in mediations and arbitrations. 

張志雄現為執業大律師及香港註冊專業工程師(土木工程)。他擁有以下學歴：土木工程(倫敦大學帝國學院)、工程地質學(澳洲新南威爾斯大學)、仲裁及糾紛解决學(城市大學)、實務會計學(澳洲蒙納士大學)、工商管理學(理工大學)以及法律(城市大學)。

張先生是香港工程師學會會員和英國特許仲裁師學會會員。他亦為香港大律師公會認可名冊下之調解員。

張先生過往在建築行業工作時，曾為發展商、顧問公司及建築公司服務。他曾參與的工程，包括海外(悉尼及上海)及本地，有土力工程、地盆平整、地基樁柱、隧道、橋樑、道路及渠務、公營房屋、酒店、住宅及商業樓宇等等。在他成為大律師之前，他是一間擁有政府丙組牌照之承建商之執行董事，負責所有商業上之事宜以及國內之投資發展事務。張先生亦曾代表公司處理多宗調解、仲裁及法律訴訟之事宜。

張先生現從事民事及刑事案件。除了高等法院、區域法院及眾多裁判處外，張先生也曾在土地審裁處及城市規劃上訴委員會上處理案件。張先生亦對調解及仲裁之委任深感興趣。
