Profile

Mediation Training and Practices:

I graduated from Master of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution in the University of Hong Kong (HKU), in which different course regarding the alternative dispute resolution has been taken, such as Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration. This Master degree was focusing on most of the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Upon the graduation, I am actively involved in the mediation accreditation training. I was assisting the Mediation Seminar organized by HKIE Marine & Naval Architecture discipline in 2012.

Besides the Master of Law training, I have attended a special course regarding the culture, diversity & power in dispute resolution organized by the HKU faculty of Law. Meanwhile, I have also trained on counseling skills at HKU Space to enhance my soft skill during the mediation. In October 2012, I have attended the seminar organized by Joint Mediation Helpline Office (JMHO) regarding the pilot mediation scheme under Land (Compulsory Sale for Redevelopment) Ordinance.

Qualification:

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering), the University of Hong Kong – First Class Honour
- Master of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution, the University of Hong Kong
- Member of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (Aircraft Discipline)
- Position Holder of a Hong Kong Aircraft Maintenance Organization
- Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot License Holder

Career and Skills:

I am currently working in one of the Hong Kong Airlines as a company safety manager, specializing in the engineering and maintenance especially on safety matters. I am also a chartered engineering in Hong Kong Institute of Engineers and the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department Aircraft Maintenance License Holder. Besides, the maintenance aspect, I am also involving a lot of training specializing in aviation, safety and human factor

Besides, the working career, I also participate in a lot voluntary works involving teenagers. Having been the senior member of Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, I have interacting with parents and youngsters, in which different family issues were explored.

I believe the mediation is one of the best ways to resolve any dispute. Having understood the needs from both parties, the resolution will be in the best interest of everyone involved.
